Berlin (dpa) - Companies in Germany have hired about 325,000 people over the past three years to deal with growing bureaucratic demands, according to a study by the Institute for Employment Research (IAB). Some 14% of firms in Germany rated their administrative burden as "very high" in 2025, up sharply from 4% in 2022, the research institute in Nuremberg said.
