ALMATY, Oct. 19 (Xinhua) -- Daniil Medvedev battled past Australian qualifier James Duckworth 6-7 (8), 6-3, 6-2 on Saturday to reach the 2025 Almaty Open final. Duckworth, whose run from qualifying included wins over two seeded players, pushed the world No. 4 hard in the opening set, saving two set points before edging the tiebreak 10-8.
