MOSCOW, October 19 (RIA Novosti) - About 42 million Americans could lose their food stamps as early as November due to the continued government shutdown, CNN reported. One in eight Americans receive food assistance through the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), which provides food stamps, the report said on Saturday.
