8 killed, 28 injured as pickup vehicle falls into gorge in India's Maharashtra

NEW DELHI, Oct. 18 (Xinhua) -- At least eight people were killed and 28 others injured, 15 of them critically, on Saturday after a pickup vehicle carrying them skidded off the road and fell into a gorge in the western Indian state of Maharashtra, the state broadcaster All India Radio said.
