Ghana earns 8 bln USD from gold exports in 10 months

ACCRA, Oct. 17 (Xinhua) -- The Ghana Gold Board (GoldBod) has announced that at least 8 billion U.S. dollars were generated from gold exports since January to boost the country's foreign exchange reserves. "The GoldBod and the Precious Minerals Marketing Company (PMMC) have generated over 8 billion dollars in foreign exchange from Ghana's small-scale gold export between January and Oct. 15, 2025," the statement said.
