IMF Chief Praises Global Restraint Amid US Tariffs Surge, Warns of More Changes Ahead

WASHINGTON, October 17 (RIA Novosti) - The International Monetary Fund (IMF) welcomes the restraint shown by most of its member countries in avoiding retaliatory measures against the United States despite rising US tariffs, but more changes may still come, IMF Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva said on Friday.
