WINDHOEK, 16 OCT (NAMPA) – Namibia is marking the 25th anniversary of the United Nations Security Council Resolution 1325 with a special commemoration ceremony in Windhoek on Thursday.
The three-day event, which started on Wednesday with a street procession, is themed ‘25 Years of 1325: Honouring the Legacy, Advancing the WPS Agenda,’ and brings together leaders and delegates from across Africa and beyond to reflect on the role of women in peace...
