Over 150,000 Residents of China's Guangdong Province Evacuated Due to Approaching Typhoon

BEIJING, October 5 (RIA Novosti) - Authorities in China's southern province of Guangdong evacuated more than 150,000 people due to the approach of Typhoon Matmo, which is expected to reach mainland China by Sunday afternoon, according to China Central Television (CCTV). As of 8:00 p.m. (Midnight GMT) on October 4, a total of 151,352 people have been evacuated in Guangdong Province, including 9,916 people from the sea and 141,436 people on land......
