MOSCOW, October 4 (RIA Novosti) - French cyclist Aurelien Fontenoy has broken the world record for the fastest time to climb the steps of the Eiffel Tower in Paris on a bicycle. Fontenoy climbed 686 steps of the Eiffel Tower, reaching the last platform accessible by stairs in 12 minutes and 30 seconds, breaking the previous record by nearly seven minutes, according to the tower’s operator.
