Japan beverage giant Asahi suspends launch of new products after cyberattack

TOKYO, Oct. 2 (Xinhua) -- Japanese food and beverage giant Asahi Group Holdings Ltd. has decided to put off the launch of 12 new products due to a system failure following a cyberattack. The company said on Wednesday it has reported to investigative authorities the apparent ransomware attack, which occurred at around 7 a.m. local time on Monday.
