Chernobyl plant undergoes power fluctuations: IAEA

VIENNA, Oct. 2 (Xinhua) -- Ukraine's Chernobyl nuclear power plant experienced power fluctuations early Wednesday due to a technical problem, according to the UN nuclear watchdog. The plant lost connection to the 330 kV line of its Slavutych substation. By swiftly switching to alternate lines, power was restored, except for the New Safe Confinement (NSC), the International Atomic Energy Agency said on the social platform X on Wednesday night.......
