ISTANBUL, September 21 (RIA Novosti) - The congress of Turkey's largest opposition party, the Republican People's Party (CHP), reelected Ozgur Ozel as its leader in a majority vote on Sunday. The extraordinary, 22nd CHP congress in Ankara was attended by 917 voting delegates, with 835 backing Ozel's reelection. A further 82 ballots were declared invalid​​​.
