The Italian Winter Sports Federation (FISI) has called for stricter safety standards for ski slopes after Italian skier Matteo Franzoso died in a training fall. The federation said there should be a limit to the number of downhill training tracks worldwide and for safety at all tracks to be monitored by the International Ski Federation (FIS).
