Essen, Germany (dpa) - Germany's largest energy supplier, Eon, says there is the potential for thousands of megawatt hours of power to be stored in the batteries of electric cars. According to an Eon analysis seen by dpa, more than 225,000 cars that were technically equipped for so-called bidirectional charging were already registered in Germany at the beginning of 2025.
