Irish GDP grows 0.2% in second quarter

Dublin (dpa-AFX) - The Irish economy expanded slightly in the second quarter, the latest data from the statistical office CSO showed on Thursday, after initial estimates had signalled a contraction. Gross domestic product (GDP) rose a seasonally adjusted 0.2% sequentially in the second quarter, reversing a 7.5% expansion in the first quarter.
