Eurozone producer price inflation eases to 0.2%

Brussels (dpa-AFX) - Eurozone producer prices increased at a slower pace in July due to the fall in energy prices, Eurostat said on Wednesday. Producer prices in the 20-member currency area rose only 0.2% on a yearly basis compared to June's increase of 0.6%, after prices had been forecast to rise 0.1%. However, excluding energy, producer price inflation rose slightly to 1% from 0.9%. Month-on-month, the increase in producer prices halved to 0.4%......
