South Korea endured its hottest summer on record in 2025, official data showed Monday, beating the previous mark set just last year. "The average temperature from June 1 through Aug. 31 was 25.7 degrees Celsius, the highest since data collection began in 1973," the Korea Meteorological Administration said in a press release.
