U.S. stocks close higher

NEW YORK, Aug. 26 (Xinhua) -- U.S. stocks ended higher on Tuesday. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 135.6 points, or 0.3 percent, to 45,418.07. The S&P 500 added 26.62 points, or 0.41 percent, to 6,465.94. The Nasdaq Composite Index increased by 94.978 points, or 0.44 percent, to 21,544.27. Seven of the 11 primary S&P 500 sectors ended in green, with industrials and financials leading the gainers by adding 1.03 percent and 0.76 percent......
