German men add hockey Euro glory to world title

Mönchengladbach, Germany (dpa) - The German men's hockey team have won the European Championship title for the first time in 12 years. The world champions remain the record winners in the continental competition with nine victories after André Henning's team defeated Olympic champions the Netherlands 4-1 in a penalty shoot-out after a 1-1 draw in regular time.
