Germany to simplify private investment in infrastructure, renewables

Berlin (dpa) - Germany is looking to make it easier for private investors to invest in infrastructure and renewables, as the new government continues to search for ways to boost the ailing economy. "Improved access to financing for companies is of crucial importance for innovation, private investment and economic growth as a whole," it said in a draft text for new legislation drawn up by the Finance Ministry and seen by dpa.
