Israeli army claims killing of senior Hamas commander in S. Gaza

JERUSALEM, Aug. 15 (Xinhua) -- The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) on Friday said in a statement that it had struck and killed a senior Hamas commander in the southern Gaza Strip. According to the statement, Nasser Musa, who was targeted in Khan Younis last Saturday, was a senior member of the Rafah Brigade and served as the head of Hamas' military control department.
