PARIS, Aug. 14 (Xinhua) -- France's consumer price index (CPI) rose 1 percent year-on-year in July, unchanged from June, the French National Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies (INSEE) said Thursday. INSEE explained that the stability in inflation reflected a sharper drop in energy prices, which offset the continued rise in the cost of services and food.
