OTJIWARONGO, 13 AUG (NAMPA) – The Otjozondjupa Regional Council (ORC) on Wednesday announced its plan to construct over 90 new affordable houses at Kalkfeld settlement, starting with the servicing of land this year.
Situated approximately 70 kilometres west of Otjiwarongo, Kalkfeld was in 1991 proclaimed a village council, and later downgraded in 1996, due to the lack of economic development activities at the settlement.
