Hanover (dpa) - Volkswagen is hoping to negotiate a direct agreement with the US government once a deal has been reached with the EU over tariffs. As soon as an agreement between the US and the EU is in place, Volkswagen wants to build on it and make a specific deal for the Volkswagen Group, boss Oliver Blume said on Friday, while presenting the company's half-year figures in Wolfsburg.
