Man hospitalized following violent Sydney home invasion

SYDNEY, July 22 (Xinhua) -- A man has been hospitalized after being attacked during a violent home invasion in western Sydney. Emergency services were called to reports of a break-in at the home in the suburb of Merrylands, 20 km west of central Sydney, around 1:45 a.m. local time on Tuesday.
