Ukrainian Court Orders Seizure of $35Mln in Assets of Ex-Lawmaker in Luxembourg - SBI

MOSCOW, July 18 (RIA Novosti) - A Ukrainian court has ordered the seizure of more than $35 million in funds and securities belonging to a former Ukrainian lawmaker, with the assets held in a bank in Luxembourg, the State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) said on Friday. The seizure was based on evidence indicating the illegal origin of the funds, the SBI said. The defendant is suspected of evading 71 million hryvnias ($1.7 million) in taxes. The S......
