Indonesian Court Sentences Former Trade Minister to 4.5 Years in Prison for Corruption

MOSCOW, July 18 (RIA Novosti) - A court in Indonesia on Friday sentenced former Trade Minister Thomas Trikasih Lembong to four years and six months in prison in a corruption case related to the illegal issuance of sugar import permits. "The defendant, Thomas Trikasih Lembong, is sentenced to four years and six months in prison," Chief Judge Dennie Arsan Fatrika was quoted as saying by the Tempo news portal.
