Clean energy fuels two-thirds of U.S. California power grid: governor

SACRAMENTO, United States, July 14 (Xinhua) -- U.S. California's clean energy transition has reached a new milestone, with more than two-thirds of the state's power grid now fueled by renewable and zero-carbon sources, Governor Gavin Newsom said Monday. Data released by the governor's office showed that 67 percent of California's retail electricity sales in 2023 came from renewable and zero-carbon electricity generation, compared to 61 percent......
