Russia to close Polish Consulate General in Kaliningrad

MOSCOW, July 11 (Xinhua) -- The Russian Foreign Ministry said on Friday that it will close the Polish Consulate General in Kaliningrad from Aug. 29. In a statement, the ministry said it had summoned the Polish charge d'affaires in Moscow on Friday to inform the envoy of the decision, adding that it was in response to Poland's closure of the Russian Consulate General in Krakow, effective June 30, 2025.
