Average Life Expectancy at 79 Years in China - NDRC

BEIJING, July 9 (RIA Novosti) - The average life expectancy in China has increased to 79 years, Chairman of the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) Zheng Shanjie said on Wednesday. "Average life expectancy has reached 79 years, having increased by one year every five years from the 12th (2011-2015) to the 14th (2021-2025) five-year period," Zheng Shanjie told reporters.
