Paris (dpa) - A case of chikungunya in eastern France was reportedly domestically transmitted, triggering fears that the mosquito-borne disease could spread to Germany. The Robert Koch Institute, Germany's top epidemiological institute, said on Monday that the infection was detected last week in the French region of Alsace, less than 10 kilometres from the border.
