Guangdong carbon market closes higher

GUANGZHOU, July 7 (Xinhua) -- Carbon emissions allowances closed at 38.17 yuan (5.34 U.S. dollars) per tonne on Monday, 3.72 percent up from Friday at Guangzhou Emissions Exchange, the largest local carbon market in China. A total of 47,532 tonnes of allowances were transacted on Monday with a turnover of 1,711,386.59 yuan.
