Spectators seriously hurt in crash at German track cycling event

Dudenhofen, Germany (dpa) - A serious accident affecting riders and spectators marred the last day of the German track cycling championships on Sunday. The injuries in Dudenhofen in the western state of Rhineland-Palatinate are severe but not life threatening. Two rescue helicopters, six ambulances and an emergency doctor ensured medical care.
