Flash floods kill 2, cause extensive damage in east Afghanistan

KABUL, July 6 (Xinhua) -- Torrential rains triggered severe flash floods that swept through parts of eastern Afghanistan's Nangarhar province, killing two children and leaving a trail of destruction, a local official said on Sunday.
