Russian Actor Borisov Invited to Join Motion Picture Academy

WASHINGTON, June 26 (RIA Novosti) - Yura Borisov, the first Russian actor to be nominated for an Academy Award in over four decades, has been invited to join the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, the filmmaking institution said on Thursday. Borisov, recognized for his performances in Anora and Compartment No. 6, is among 534 artists and executives invited to join the Academy in recognition of their contribution to the film industry​​​.......
