Berlin (dpa) - German Defence Minister Boris Pistorius on Sunday described the US strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities as "good news" for the Middle East but also for Europe, saying the operation helped eliminate a major threat. Speaking in an interview with public broadcaster ARD, Pistorius said military escalation is never desirable.
