Bangladesh records 36 new COVID-19 cases, 5 more deaths

DHAKA, June 22 (Xinhua) -- Bangladesh recorded its highest single-day toll of five COVID-19 deaths this year on Sunday, bringing the tally to 29,515 since the start of the pandemic, the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) said. The statistics showed 36 new cases of COVID-19 in the country in the past 24 hours as of 8:00 a.m. local time Sunday. Bangladesh has reported 433 COVID-19 cases and 16 deaths so far this year, the DGHS said......
