Egyptian FM, U.S. envoy discuss Israel-Iran conflict

CAIRO, June 21 (Xinhua) -- Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty on Saturday held a phone call with the U.S. Special Envoy for the Middle East Steve Witkoff to discuss the escalating military tensions between Israel and Iran, the Egyptian Foreign Ministry said in a statement. During the call, Abdelatty expressed deep concern over the current escalation, warning that it poses "a serious threat to the security and stability of the region."......
