San Diego Padres pitcher Robert Suarez was issued a three-game suspension and an undisclosed fine by Major League Baseball for intentionally hitting Shohei Ohtani of the Los Angeles Dodgers. The punishment, handed down Friday night, came for his pitch in the bottom of the ninth inning on Thursday at Dodger Stadium.
