Over 1,200 Afghan refugee families return home in single day

KABUL, June 21 (Xinhua) -- A total of 1,247 Afghan refugee families returned to their homeland Afghanistan in a single day on Friday, according to the state-run Bakhtar news agency on Saturday. The migrants returned from neighboring Iran and Pakistan, the media outlet reported, adding that all the returnees had received necessary assistance from government bodies at the crossing points before departing for their provinces.
