Slovenia withdraws embassy staff from Tehran amid escalating tensions

LJUBLJANA, June 19 (Xinhua) -- Slovenia has temporarily withdrawn its diplomatic staff and their families from the embassy in Tehran due to escalating tensions between Israel and Iran, the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs announced on Thursday. All Slovenian nationals working at the embassy have left Iran, and consular services have been suspended until further notice.
