Dutch rail strike to halt train services nationwide on Tuesday

THE HAGUE, June 8 (Xinhua) -- Train services across the Netherlands will come to a halt on Tuesday as a strike by railway unions expands to cover much of the country, Dutch Railways (NS) announced on Sunday. "Due to a strike organized by the trade unions in large parts of North Holland, South Holland, Zeeland, and West Brabant, no NS trains will run nationwide on Tuesday, June 10," NS said in a statement posted on its website.
