Rwanda withdraws from Central African bloc over alleged manipulation by DRC

KIGALI, June 8 (Xinhua) -- Rwanda announced Saturday it is withdrawing from the Economic Community of Central African States (ECCAS), accusing its neighbor, the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), of "instrumentalizing" the bloc with the support of certain member states. The announcement came at the conclusion of the 26th ordinary summit of the bloc held in Malabo, Equatorial Guinea, attended by Rwandan Prime Minister Edouard Ngirente.......
