Japanese Space Company Wraps Up Lunar Mission After Failed Landing Attempt

MOSCOW, June 6 (RIA Novosti) - Japanese private space company ispace announced on Friday concluding its second lunar exploration mission due to the failed landing attempt of its Resilience module. The Resilience module, also known as Hakuto-R, was launched on January 15 from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida, US, and was scheduled to land on the Moon on Thursday but went out of touch with the control center.
