Hamas Says Did Not Reject Witkoff's Proposal for Ceasefire, Made Some Remarks

CAIRO, June 6 (RIA Novosti) - Palestinian movement Hamas did not reject the US special envoy Steve Witkoff's plan for a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, but demanded some changes, the head of the movement in Gaza, Khalil al-Hayya, said. "We emphasize that the movement did not reject Witkoff's latest proposal, but we made some remarks," al-Hayya said in an address on Thursday. He also noted that Hamas is ready to enter into a new round of negotiations......
