1st LD: Sudanese army declares Khartoum State free of paramilitary forces

KHARTOUM, May 20 (Xinhua) -- The Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) on Tuesday declared Khartoum State free of the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF), ending the group's presence in the state after more than two years. In a statement, the SAF announced that Khartoum purged of the "rebels and their supporters."
