Syria Finds New Investor for Tartus Port After Exiting Deal With Russia - Authorities

MOSCOW, May 16 (RIA Novosti) - Syria's General Authority for Land and Maritime Crossings said on Friday that it had signed an agreement on mutual understanding with Dubai-based port operator DP World worth $800 million to invest in the Tartus seaport infrastructure, after tearing up the port management agreement with Russia.
