OKAHANDJA, 13 MAY (NAMPA) – Senior Ovambanderu Traditional Authority councillor Gerson Kunomundu Katjirua’s long-standing dedication significantly strengthened the Swapo Party, particularly within the Omaheke Region.
Katjirua died on 27 April 2025 at the age of 84. He was laid to rest at the Ovambanderu Heroes’ Acre in Okahandja on Sunday.
His tireless efforts for the party were recalled by speakers at his funeral.
