MOSCOW, May 7 (RIA Novosti) - A Finnish air force F/A-18 Hornet fighter jet crashed near an airport in Lapland, and the pilot ejected, the Finnish air force said on Wednesday. "A Finnish air force F/A-18 Hornet fighter jet crashed in Rovaniemi on May 7 at about 11 am [local time, 8:00 GMT]. The plane crashed near Rovaniemi airport [in Lapland]​​​.
