Addiction centre urges hike in Germany's alcohol prices

Berlin (dpa) - The German Centre for Addiction Issues (DHS) is calling for higher prices for alcoholic beverages due to the high number of alcohol-related illnesses and deaths in the country. Presenting its annual Addiction Yearbook, the DHS said alcohol is cheaper in Germany than anywhere else in Europe.
